Food Pantry

For many years, Emmaus House has responded to inadequate access to healthy food options in the community.

As the lack of reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food, food insecurity perpetuates a cycle of overlapping issues that affect the development and the success of families.

We make healthy food options accessible to our neighbors through our food pantry and by providing guidance through the process of completing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) applications that help them meet their everyday needs.

Help us fight hunger and food insecurity

Many families have to choose between living essentials and healthy food, and your support can change that.

Every $50 you donate to our food pantry buys groceries for one family for a month.

If you’d like your donation to exclusively go toward purchasing feminine hygiene items, on the donation page please add “Period Poverty” in the field asking “What would you like us to know about this gift?”

  • PLEASE NOTE: all items need to be able to survive long periods on our shelves without spoiling.

    • Meal kits that don’t require extra ingredients. Kits that include canned meat, canned sauce, and pasta all in one box are great choices
